The rotary engine has been Mazdas symbol and trademark since the introduction of the Cosmo Sport in 1969. In 2003 Mazda presented to us another rotary powered machine that combined both sport and practical use. The Best Motoring International drivers put the RX-8 through an intensive test and finish off with another exciting battle at the Tsukuba circuit against its rivals.
TUNED Z FACE OFF
Since the release of the 'New Z', many tuners have been competing to come up with the best 'Tuned Z'. We gathered three Zs and put them under the microscope to be examined by 'Drift King' Keiichi Tsuchiya. Tsuchiya took the Mines, Boss and Espirit Zs for an extreme drifting session. Then the three Zs were challenged to a face off at Tsukuba against the Amuse S2000 and the Yumekobo S15 Silvia.
TOUGE SHOWDOWN 280
BMI set off to the hills of Gunsai again for the Touge 280 class battle. Keiichi Drift King Tsuchiya, Manabu Orido and top D1 contender Nobuteru No Better Taniguchi test-drove various tuned cars from Japan. These machines showcase the very best in Japanese tuning. You'll have to watch to find out which awesome tuned car blew away Tsuchiya so much that he gave it the Touge Monster title!
