Owners and enthusiasts of Brough Superior motorcycles, and motorcycle connoisseurs in general, will find in this book a large selection of road tests and features reproducted from the pages of The Motor Cycle and Motor Cucling, the two great journals of the heyday of British motorcycling, spread over the period 1923 to 1964. A numbers of retrospective stories from Motorcucle Spor are also included, among them a fascinating investigation of Brough SUperior prototypes.
With back numbers of magazines usually difficult and somentimes costly to obtain, the unique oportunity to own this wealth of rare and informative material in a single volumen is definitely not to be missed.
The compilation has been made and is introduced by C.E. Allen, a motorcycle enthusiast for six decades and founder of the Vintage Motor Cu¡ycles CLub, which now has some 20,000 members. He knew George Brough well, has owned Brough Superiors for forty years, and is the fortunate possessor or "Old Bill", George Brough`s personal record-breaker from the 1920s.
