For more than 50 years, Brooklands Books have been publishing compilations of road tests and other articles from the English speaking world's leading motoring magazines. We have already produced more than 900 titles, having about 500 in print at any one time, and in these we have made available to motoring enthusiasts some 35,000 stories which would otherwise have become difficult, if not impossible, to locate. For the most part, our books focus on a single model and, as such, they have become a valuable reference source. As Bill Boddy of Motor Sport was kind enough to write when reviewing one of our Gold Portfolio volumes, the Brooklands catalogue must now constitute the most complete historical source of reference available, at least of the more recent makes and models. Even so we are constantly being asked to publish new titles on cars which have a narrower appeal than those we have already covered in our main portfolio series. The economics of book production make it impossible to cover these subjects in any volume, but our more recent Limited Edition series books, such as this, give us a way to cover these less popular, but no less worthy, subjects. For some years we have had 100 page Limited Editions and 130 page Limited Edition Extra titles in this series but to cover Ginetta in the depth that we wanted demanded many more pages - 200 in fact. This book has therefore become our first Limited Edition Ultra title. The 50 year story of the sporting Ginettas are told through 67 articles.
