MORRIS MINOR COLLECTION Nº1 1948-1980

The Morris Minor name has continued from the early 1930s but the design covered by this book was a radical introduction in 1948 and a shape that was to become a classic. Over the years the body style and engines were refined and an estate or Traveller version proved to be very popular. The a-series engine powered it from 1952 until 1956 when the 1000 replaced the Series II and the 1098cc A Series came in 1962 which was to remain until 1971 when production ceased. This is a book of contemporary road tests, specification and technical data, new model introductions, engine conversions, buying second hand, history. Models include: 918sv, Series II, Estate, Powerplus, 1000 two-door de Luxe. 70 pages, 200 illus. SB.
