Dexter Brown is one of the foremost artists working in the automotive field. He paints in two distinct ways. His dynamic abstract style is familiar to many motorsport fans but, under the pseudonym of de Bruyne, he also does Impressionistic pictures of the Edwardian era, when motoring was new. His other work, for rock concerts and the theatre, not to mention his street scenes and intimate figure studies, reveal an unusually diverse talent. Illustrated with a wealth of full-colour examples of his paintings.
