The 750cc three-cylinder BSA Rocket 3 and Triumph Trident represented the first of a new and refined breed of multi-cylinder super bikes when they were launched in 1968. Much smoother than the ubiquitous parallel twins of the time, the powerful triples offered tremendous 125mph performance combined with the pleasant flexibility, and scored many racing successes for Britain in the 1970s.

Topics covered: · Complete history of road and racing BSA and Triumph triples · Full specifications for all models · Details of Trident and Rocket 3 racing fortunes · Advice on owning and running a triple today · Superb archive and new colour photography · Special feature panels

‘Praises must be heaped upon Mick Duckworth and Crowood Press for the achievement which this book represents. Buy it – and then buy a Trident!’ Classic Bike Guide

‘Outstanding, definitive study of the triples by Classic Bike’s former deputy editor who has interviewed the people who know.’ The Classic Motorcycle
