IRVINE MILLAR
Ulsterbus and its striking blue and ivory livery has become a potent symbol of Northern Ireland over the years to many people in Britain. This book by G Irvine Millar, recently retired Inspector General of Ulsterbus, is the fourth in Colourpoint's Buses in Ulster series. It takes the story of Ulsterbus from its formation at the break up of the old Ulster Transport Authority in 1967 through to the retirement of its charismatic first manager Werner Heubeck in 1988.
The book also includes a full fleet list of the buses operated in the period of the book.
