It's not speed, it's a battle between rider and terrain. The impossible happens.
With a range of innovative courses, and a host of up-and-coming competitors, the World Outdoor Trials Championship gets stronger every year. Reigning world champion Dougie Lampkin is always one step ahead. The man from Yorkshire has single-handedly pushed the parameters of trials bike riding and, in 2002, he really let it rip!
Gunning for his sixth outdoor trials championship. Lampkin cut an imposing figure on his Montesa Honda. Standing in his way was a field of top-class competitors including Albert Cabestany, Takahisa Fujinami, Adam Raga and fellow Brit Steve Colley. The champion dominated proceedings with an awesome display of power and control, his closest challenge coming from Honda team mate Fujinami. At the final round of the season in Motegi, an animated Japanese crowd saw Lampkin retain his world crown in style.
Don't miss a beat as the whole story of his historic season is told through a range of camera angles, informative commentary and insightful interviews. With high quality action from every round, this fantastic review features all the thrills and spills from another eventful championship!
