BSA introduced a new range of singles for 1937 were to become the mainstay of that section of their range in the 1940s abd 1950s From it came the famous Gold Star, winner of many races in many types of competition, and the prosaic C10, derided vy some as `grey porridge´, but providing basic transport, BSA singles gave transport and success - their pre-unit history is recorded here in words and pictures.
