JAGUAR XK120, XK140, XK150 GOLD PORTFOLIO 1948-1960

The XK120 was drawn up hurriedly during 1948 when it became apparent that the new twin-overhead-camshaft engine would form the ideal basis for a high-performance two-seater sports car. The XK120 developed into an XK140 in 1954 and into the XK150 in 1957, each more potent and refined than the last. They were abandoned for the E-Type in 1961 by which time over 30,000 had been made. This is a book of contemporary road tests, specification and technical data, new model introductions, driver’s impressions, buyer’s guides, travel, racing. Models covered include: XK120, Coupé, C-type, Fitch-Jaguar, XK120M, D-type, XK140, Coupé, XK140MC, XKSS, XK150, Coupé, XK150S, Lister Jaguar, XK150S 3.8, Le Mans. 180 pages, 450 illus. SB
